It's not very often that a tribute CD sounds almost as good as the real thing, but this Dixie Chicks offering from The Country Dance Kings, recorded by Mick Lloyd in Nashville is an exception. Eleven of the Dixie's great songs, including the massive "Wide Open Spaces" are included on the CD. The three girls from Texas have achieved incredible success since their breakthrough disc Wide Open Spaces in 1998, and the distinctive sound that they have with the vocals of Natalie Maine's have been recreated to a very high standard.
